Angels of KS Toy Drive

We are holding our Annual Toy Drive for the children of our community. Anyone wanting to make a toy donation can bring to Town Hall from 8-4pm, Monday through Friday. The deadline for donations will be Friday, December 13th. In order to participate in the toy drive you must come by Town Hall and fill out an application to be a recipient. The deadline for applications is December 12, 2024.

The Krotz Springs Municipal Public Library will be hosting their Annual Thanksgiving Story Time on Monday, November 21, 2024 at 5:00pm, 216 Park Street. Please come join us for this event!
Town Hall Closed

Daylight Savings Time

Don't forget that Daylight Savings Time ends on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at midnight. Remember to set your clocks back before bed time. Always remember, spring forward and fall back!

Town Hall will be closed Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th in observance of Thanksgiving. We will re-open Monday, December 2, 2024. From the Mayor, Council, Chief and all staff we would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
If You Smell Gas

It is that time of the year when gas heaters are turned on for the first time. We are reminding our townspeople of the dangers of a gas leak. If you suspect a gas leak, leave the house immediately. Don't use the phone. Call for assistance from neighbors house. Don't light a match. Don't turn on a light. Never turn on anything electrical. Call town hall at 337-566-2322 for assistance Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. After hours call 911!

Veteran's Day

On Veteran's Day we honor all, Who answered to a service call. Soldiers young, and soldiers old, Fought for freedom, brave and bold. Some have lived, while others died, And all of them deserve our pride. We're proud of all the soldiers who, Kept thinking of red, white and blue. They fought for us and all our rights, They fought through many days and nights. And though we may not know each name, We thank ALL VETERANS just the same.

The Town of Krotz Springs has books for sale "Pictures From the Past" volume I, II, & III at town hall for $10.00 a book. The books have a chronological order of the history of the Town of Krotz Springs.
Code Red

The Town of Krotz Springs has implemented CodeRED, a high-speed emergency mass notification service provided by Ormond Beach, FL-based OnSolve, LLC. The CodeRED system will serve as the backbone of the Town of Krotz Springs emergency planning and communications outreach to both citizens and staff. The system sends telephone calls, test messages, and emails to inform residents to better protect life and property. CodeRED was selected for its reliabilty and accuracy, as well as the system's wide spread adoption rates across the U.S.

Utilities, fines, taxes, and etc can be paid online by going to our website. We can also be contacted on the website by filling out a form under Contact Us.
Halloween Story Time

The Krotz Springs Municipal Public Library will have a "Halloween Story Time" October 28, 2024 at 5pm at 216 Park Street, Gary Soileau Community Center. So gather the children and grandchildren for spooky stories and spooky treats. The children are free to come dressed in costume.
