KS FAMILY MEDICAL CLINIC

Just a reminder that the KS Family Medical Clinic operated by Dr. Craig Greene is located in the Gary Soileau Community Center at 216 Park Street. Nurse Practitioner Liz (Elizabeth) Martin and Staff are available to attend to your medical needs Monday through Thursday each week. Looking Ahead: Buy a Brick

I know there are many Veteran's and Veteran supporters in our little town and surrounding area. In the future we will be selling bricks for a Krotz Springs Veteran Memorial at Nall Park. The applications will be available, hopefully soon, as we are still in the planning stages. Updates to follow and thanks for your support now and in the future. Park Reservations

Anyone interested in using the parks for events must first check with Town Hall for availability to reserve the pavilions. We now have two pavilions that are available to the public for events. The permit is $50.00 and if the pavilion is cleaned and no damages $25.00 will be refunded. If you are planning to have a fun jump or water slide please notify the town. There are designated areas for the inflatables. For more details call 337-566-2322.
Second Harvest

Second Harvest distribution will take place October 22 & 23 at the Gary Soileau Community Center, 216 Park Street from 7:00am to 10:00am. Applications can be picked up at Town Hall Monday-Friday, from 8am-4pm. For more information please call 337-566-2322.

Trick or Treat

Halloween is Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The Town of Krotz Springs will celebrate "Trick or Treat" on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 5:30-7:00pm for all children 13 years of age and under. The Town Hall will hand out cand and treats for Halloween. Motorists are asked to be especially careful of the children and their escorts during these hours. Four wheelers and side by sides may be used during the hours of trick or treat. No alcohol is allowed! Thanks and Happy Halloween!
Hurricane Preparation

Hurricane season began June 1. If a storm is forecast to affect the Town of Krotz Springs you should evacuate or prepare to take care of yourself! Basic preparedness: 1) If you are ordered to evacuate, know hurricane routes and a plan where to stay; 2) Put together a disaster supply kit, including a flashlight, batteries, cash, first aid supplies, water, medicine and copies of your critical information; 3) If you are not ordered to evacuate plan for adequate supplies in case you lose power and water for several days.
TOWN BIRTHDAY

On January 6th the town celebrates it's 107th Birthday. C.W. Krotz successfully incorporated Krotz Springs as a village on January 6, 1917. The proclamation creating Krotz Springs was signed by Governor R.G. Pleasant. Krotz Springs remained a village until 1955 when it was declared a town.
