The Town of Krotz Springs has books for sale "Pictures From the Past" volume I, II, & III at town hall for $10.00 a book. The books have a chronological order of the history of the Town of Krotz Springs.
Code Red

The Town of Krotz Springs has implemented CodeRED, a high-speed emergency mass notification service provided by Ormond Beach, FL-based OnSolve, LLC. The CodeRED system will serve as the backbone of the Town of Krotz Springs emergency planning and communications outreach to both citizens and staff. The system sends telephone calls, test messages, and emails to inform residents to better protect life and property. CodeRED was selected for its reliabilty and accuracy, as well as the system's wide spread adoption rates across the U.S.
Community Center Anniversary

This month marks the 20th Anniversary of the opening of the Gary Soileau Community Center. In the community center you find the Krotz Springs Municipal Library, a doctor's office and there is a event room for functions. Rental of the facility is $700 with a deposit of $200. The deposit is refundable upon completion of all requirements. A contract must be signed and payment is required prior to activity. The community center has become a great asset to our town, we have a library and clinic established in the building.

Krotz Springs Sportmen's Heritage Festival Queen's Reading

Please join us for a reading of a short story and a Tea Party! We will have tea and small snack as well as a craft for the children! Tea party attire is encouraged. This event will take place April 2, 2024 at the Krotz Springs Municipal Public Library, 216 Park Street at 3:00pm. Hope to see everyone for this wonderful event.
KS FAMILY MEDICAL CLINIC

Just a reminder that the KS Family Medical Clinic operated by Dr. Craig Greene is located in the Gary Soileau Community Center at 216 Park Street. Nurse Practitioner Liz (Elizabeth) Martin and Staff are available to attend to your medical needs Monday through Thursday each week. LOVE THE BOOT WEEK

We are excited to partner with Keep Louisiana Beautiful and participate in Love the Boot Week! We will be hosting a litter cleanup/beautification event on April 27, 2024 at 216 Park Street. Park Reservations

Anyone interested in using the parks for events must first check with Town Hall for availability to reserve the pavilions. We now have two pavilions that are available to the public for events. The permit is $50.00 and if the pavilion is cleaned and no damages $25.00 will be refunded. If you are planning to have a fun jump or water slide please notify the town. There are designated areas for the inflatables. For more details call 337-566-2322.
Second Harvest

Second Harvest distribution will take place April 16 & 17 at the Gary Soileau Community Center, 216 Park Street from 7:00am to 10:00am. Applications can be picked up at Town Hall Monday-Friday, from 8am-4pm. For more information please call 337-566-2322.
Senior Party

Remember that our community Senior Citizens Birthday parties are held every first Tuesday of the month at 1pm in the Activity Room at Town Hall. In April we will be playing Bingo. So come out and enjoy the afternoon with us.
Summer Ball Program

Our summer recreation ball program has begun for the summer. We have 9 teams registered for the summer ball program. Please come by the ball parks and support our young ball players. A big thanks to the Town of Krotz Springs, Felicia Barker and all volunteers who help to make this a successful program. Good Luck to all the players!
