St. Landry Parish Community Action Agency
will be distributing commodities for those who are eligible to participate on September 28, 2022 at 10am behind Town Hall. To apply please call 337-948-3651 for more information. They are located at 1065 Hwy 749 in Opelousas, Louisiana.
Senior Party & Fall Gumbo

SENIOR PARTY & FALL GUMBO
The town hosts a Senior Citizen Party every first Tuesday of the month. All seniors 60 years of age and older are invited to participate. The October meeting will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Gary Soileau Community Center, 216 Park Street. We will be serving gumbo to our seniors as we begin the fall season, feel free to dress in costume!
Veteran's Breakfast

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 216 Park Street, the Gary Soileau Community Center, a Veteran's Breakfast will be served in honor of our local Veteran's.
Disconnects
Begins: 10/5/2022
Utility disconnects will take place October 5, 2022. If disconnected bill must be paid and the reconnect fee of $75.00 to restore utilities.
Pink Card Distribution

The Town Meeting will be held October 11, 2022 at 6:30pm, 224 Main Street in the Council Room.
Veteran's Meeting

The Veteran's Meeting will be held at Town Hall. All Veteran's are welcome to stop by for coffee and conversation. We would like to thank Claudette Robin for donating treats to the Veteran's every week, it is greatly appreciated.
Second Harvest Distribution

Second Harvest Distribution
Second Harvest Distribution will take place October 18th & 19th, 2022 from 7am-10am at the Gary Soileau Community Center, 216 Park Street. Applications can be filled out at Town Hall, 224 Main, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4pm or on site day of distribution.
